A recurring issue I hear from tradesmen is what a nightmare business administration is. Having spent a busy day out on the road looking after clients, the last thing you feel like doing when you get home is the bookkeeping.
I know from working with hundreds of tradesmen and other industries being in the accounting business – the most frustrating of all is the lack of good, simple bookkeeping software with which to raise invoices. Neither Word nor Excel are particularly good solutions to be honest.
Processing all the fiddly expenses such as parking receipts, charges and all the things you had to nip out and get to finish the job.
